FAQs

Lashes & brows

  • Eyelash extensions are single synthetic/man-made lashes applied directly to the natural lash, these can vary in thickness and length and curl depending on style of eyelashes you are getting.

  • Lash extensions are applied but isolating one individual lash and adhering a singular (or a fan of very fine lashes) lash to your natural lash close to the lash line but not touching.

  • The amount of time can vary client to client, to keep them looking fresh and full we recommend coming in every 2-3 weeks for an infill, but lash extensions are semi permanent and will adhere to your natural lash until it has grown out.

  • Depending on what style of lashes you get the time can vary 2-3 hours for full sets and 1-2 hours for infills.

  • Eyelash extensions will NOT ruin your natural lashes, our priority is always good lash health and we take pride in making sure attachment and isolation is done correctly to ensure that there is no damage to the natural lashes. As long as you are following correct after care procedures there will be no damage to your lashes.

  • Yes you can water is fine for the eyelashes and we encourage cleaning them everyday. If you are wanting to wear them whilst swimming or in a spa for e.g we urge you to clean them directly after and sometimes the chemicals in pool water and spas can effect the bond of the glue.

  • Infills are encouraged every 2-3 weeks depending on individual retention, during this appointment we remove any out grown lashes and replace those and the ones fallen out due to natural lash growth with new lashes, filling them back up to a fresh and full set.

  • There should be no pain whilst getting your eyelashes done, a little stingy can sometimes be normal for those with sensitive eyes - but make sure you are letting you lash tech know so she can take any steps to ensure your comfort during your appointment and after.

  • This is completely normal, you lose 1-5 natural lashes per day and with those lashes falling out so will the extension so it is completely normal that there is a natural lash attached to your fallen extension.

  • Yes, there is no harmful chemicals that can be absorbed into the system due to the eyelash extensions. We do encourage you to tell us when booking the appointment so we can prepare the most comfortable setting for you.

  • A lash lift and tint is exactly what it sounds like, we curl the lashes up giving the appearance of a curlier and longer lashes, we then tint your lashes to make them black. This is great for people with straighter lashes or people who want a more low maintenance lash service.

  • NO a lash lift and tint will not do any damage to your natural lashes, our priority it always your lashes health.

  • Brow lamination is a similar process to a lash lift, we are softening the cuticles of your hairs to move them into a better position and then setting them in place.
This is great for people with sparse brows / looking for a more fuller appearance.

  • Similar to lash lifts, this will depend on the growth of your brows, most people average around 8-12 weeks.

  • YES, this is the perfect treatment for people with sparse brows who want the appearance of fuller / thicker brows

  • As long as you are not experiencing this around the brow area it is safe, but your skin can be extra sensitive and something you should inform us of when booking your appointment.

  • We use bronsun dye, which has a slight skin stain, its like if henna and tint had a baby and is a permanent treatment, meaning the hairs will stay dyed until they brow out, whereas brow tint just tints the hairs and will wash away.

  • This is a permanent treatment so the hairs will stay dyed until the brows grow out.
